Greg Gillett has been in the adventure education industry for over 16 years. He is originally from South Africa and has worked for various Outward Bound schools around the U.S. and in Africa, including 9 years at the North Carolina Outward Bound School. He is a graduate of the University of Cape Town. He has a passion for working with and developing young people and helping them reach their potential. Greg helped start the Asheville TAASC program together with his wife, Beth Hockman and Mike Fischesser.
Todd has over 10 years experience serving as an educator to young people. Although the bulk of his experience has occured in the outdoor setting he has also served two years teaching in the traditional classroom. When he is not outside or working with children he enjoys writing, playing and listening to good music.
Beth has over 18 years experience facilitating groups in the wilderness, 14 of those years with Outward Bound. She has taught all over the U.S and Africa. She has a master's degree in Experiential Education from Minnesota State University and is an independent facilitator of Love and Logic workshops. Her passion is sharing the wonders of wilderness travel, service learning and personal growth with all age groups
especially young people.
Connor has been in the adventure education industry for 35 (dog) years. A Border Collie by breed, Connor believes in the innate good of people, especially when they throw sticks or tennis balls. Connor loves hiking, mountain biking and swimming in mountain rivers and lakes. He just loves being outside working with students, even if his boss doesn't pay so well.
