Better Bikes
Better Bikes is a student-run initiative to promote alternative transportation and healthy lifestyles in Asheville.
It works like this:
1. Students collect used bicycles from neighbors and friends
2. They learn how to repair and tune-up the bicycles
3.They find a person in need to donate their bicycle to.
4. People who cannot afford a great working bicycle have a new way to get around town, exercise, or to ride with friends.
